An Advanced Training Conference for Intuit Advisors
Three members of the GrowthForce team attended a QuickBooks advanced training conference in Atlanta in May. Titled "Scaling New Heights," the conference offered GrowthForce managers a first glimpse of the latest QuickBooks products and training on how to use them. We are excited to share some great QuickBooks "tips and tricks" with our clients and eNews readers.
Intuit Statement Writer is an Excel-based report writer application that creates a permanent connection to the QuickBooks data file.

Margaret Gow, Senior Systems Manager became certified in QuickBooks Field Service Management at the conference. This add-on utilizes GPS and cell phones to track technicians in the field and allows them to secure payment on the spot. It is designed for businesses which dispatch
technicians. Click here to find out more about Field Service Management.
The conference was also a chance for GrowthForce to introduce SMARTBase, a proprietary QuickBase product that integrates Customer Relationship Management, Project Management, Time Tracking and QuickBooks (See SMARTBase feature article in this eNews.)
While at the conference, King and Gow enrolled in the newly-formed National Advisor Network (www.nationaladvisornetwork.com), an association of Advanced QuickBooks Pro Advisors and Intuit Service Providers. NAN is a forum for the highest level of QuickBooks experts to exchange questions, issues and technical articles with each other, thus providing a bigger QuickBooks knowledge base for their clients.

GrowthForce has announced a partnership with California-based technology company webKPI. The business founded by two CPAs leverages a Web portal to provide automatically-generated dashboards of a business’ Key Performance Indicators from a client’s QuickBooks files.
GrowthForce has long been a proponent of tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPI), the information a business needs to measure in order to run a profitable operation. Typical KPI's are related to cash position, sales operating margin, return on equity and other financial metrics that can help a business evaluate its performance results.
