Hello [Firstname],

In this month's eNews, we share an exciting announcement. True to our name, we are growing. GrowthForce has recently opened a sales office in New Jersey to service the New York metropolitan area. Read more about our expansion in the article below.

Seeing our business grow is a great reward. Helping a client through a successful audit is another rewarding experience. Read more about how GrowthForce has helped businesses and their CPAs get ready for the auditor in our Auditor Support Case Study.

Fall is a great time for renewal and new ideas. You will find tips to do just that in our Recession Busters Column as well as our QuickBooks and Vistage tips sections. So get ready to renew with the eNews.

AUDIT READY OR NOT

Do you dread getting ready for an audit? Does preparing for an audit take you away from more valuable business activities? This is a good time of year to make sure that your books are in line before the end of the year creeps up on you. Get organized now because once the auditors show up, it is too late. For CPAs, it is a good time to identify clients who have had difficult audits last year and to help them prepare for next year.

With new tighter rules of lending these days, banks are requiring that more and more businesses get audited or reviewed annually - a compilation is often not good enough anymore for bank compliance. Therefore, a number of businesses are finding themselves subject to an audit for the first time.

GrowthForce's outsourced bookkeepers and controllers can help your business, or your clients, get ready for an audit. We help clients prepare schedules, reconcile accounts and organize supporting documents so that they are ready when the auditors knock on their door.

GROWTHFORCE OPENS NEW JERSEY OFFICE CASSANO HIRED AS V.P.

In August, GrowthForce opened a new office in Florham Park, NJ to service the New York metropolitan area. GrowthForce will provide outsourced bookkeeping and controller services as well as Quickbooks system design for publicly-traded small cap businesses and non-profit organizations with typically $2 million or more in revenues. Clients will be served by a dedicated team of bookkeepers and controllers at the Houston-based GrowthForce Service Center.

Stephen King, GrowthForce President & CEO, said the company has been contemplating a satellite office for some time, but he now feels that the timing is right to make the move. One reason, surprisingly, is the state of the economy. "As the economy starts to turn, historically new businesses spring up," said King. "We will be ready to capitalize on that predicted trend."

Mike Cassano is another reason. Cassano has been hired to manage the new sales office as GrowthForce V.P. of sales. It is not a new role for him. He has been involved in outsourced accounting since 2001 working in the same capacity for Virtual Growth and Administaff Financial Management Services, the predecessors to GrowthForce. Virtual Growth was the largest outsourced accounting firm in the country when it was acquired by Administaff, Inc. in 2001. Administaff eventually sold the business back to King who founded GrowthForce.

Cassano has more than 25 years experience in the accounting software industry. He started his career as an auditor, but for the past 20 years, he has worked in sales and sales management.

"I see a tremendous need in the small business marketplace which GrowthForce can fill," said Cassano about joining GrowthForce. "Most business owners want to focus on growing their core business, not bookkeeping and accounting. These functions are often viewed as distractions from what makes them money. GrowthForce takes this burden off of their shoulders and provides the business with timely, accurate and meaningful financial information. As a result, GrowthForce makes its customers more competitive and profitable. How many other companies can say that?"
