Career, Not A Job
GrowthForce employees start out with a career path in mind. To make their goals a reality, each employee has a Personal Development Plan that outlines the steps they need to take to climb the career ladder. One way we help our employees progress is to pay for continuing education, including the time spent in travel and in class. We also give them a range of experiences with different types of businesses to insure that the work day is varied and never dull. It's important to the success of the employee, and the company, that they view their work as a career not just a job.
Learning Environment
We encourage a learning environment by dividing our Service Center staff into teams of two to four professionals working on the same accounts. Finance teams are made up of a senior manager supervising senior, staff and junior associates. Our Systems teams are managed by senior directors and Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisors.
The GrowthForce culture is that we can learn from each other. We hold weekly staff training meetings where employees are encouraged to share the “tips and tricks,” and mistakes, they've made so we all learn from them. We train our employees in business best practices, so they can work smarter, not longer hours, to get their job done.
Making a Difference
By helping small businesses grow and prosper, our employees can make a difference in their local economies. Our service center concept of local, suburban offices across the country insures that our employees stay close to home servicing clients in their own communities. It's a good feeling knowing that you have helped local businesses where you live, work and shop. We encourage our employees to share their expertise with local non profits. We pay our employees for up to four hours a month for their service on board of directors of local non-profit organizations.

At GrowthForce, we believe that a good work-life balance is critical to our employees' happiness. We offer flex-time, allowing employees to take care of personal or family matters during the work week. We promote a fun, positive work environment by getting together during the work day to celebrate birthdays and break for picnic lunches. We schedule month-end socials to acknowledge our successes and hard work. It's our philosophy that the work-world journey should be as exciting as the destination.
