Techcess Success

One of the things that GrowthForce does best is make small businesses look and act like big businesses. After only two years in operation, Techcess Group based in Houston turned to GrowthForce to create a new outsourced bookkeeping department rivaling that of a Fortune 500 company. The result was better financial information for managerial decision making and improved cash flow – the life blood of any small business.

QuickBooks Tip
New Way to Transfer Files in QuickBooks

QuickBooks data files can often grow too big to send via e-mail. In the past, businesses have had to put such files on a disk or flash drive for their accountants. This has slowed the financial process, wasting time and money.

With QuickBooks 2008, this is no longer a problem. A new QuickBooks feature allows people to access clients QuickBooks files remotely. What’s especially helpful is that people can do diagnostics on the file without tying up the client’s QuickBooks system.

The steps include accessing the Bookkeeper’s Copy in QuickBooks, loging on to the Remote Access feature and inviting your customers to join you at a Webex online meeting. Once connected, the bookkeeper can then click a Transfer File button to put the file on his or her desktop – and crunch away at the numbers.

Contact us at GrowthForce if you’d like us to walk you through this new process.
