Hello [Firstname],

Summertime is usually a slow time for many businesses. If that is the case for your business, use your free time productively: step back and take a look at ways you can transform your company this summer that will reap benefits over the long haul.

In this issue of the E-news, we share some ways that we are transforming GrowthForce to improve satisfaction and efficiency. One is the implementation of QuickBase™ – a major new product from Intuit, the makers of QuickBooks®.

We are starting a Recession Busters column. Each month, the column will provide one income-generating best practice and one expense-saving tip. So take advantage of the summer doldrums to make changes to your business…and get started with ideas from the GrowthForce E-news.

QUICKBASE: A HOMERUN FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

"QuickBase can manage any data that must be captured and disseminated across a company."

GrowthForce has just implemented QuickBase - a customer relationship management software from Intuit, the makers of QuickBooks. We have finally found a CRM program that fits the needs of small businesses. Not only does it manage customer relationships, but project management with workflow as well. Best of all, QuickBase integrates with QuickBooks, eliminating duplicate entries. GrowthForce is so impressed with QuickBase, that we have signed on as the first QuickBase Certified Intuit Solutions Provider in the Houston area.

NEW RECESSION BUSTERS COLUMN

Starting this month, we will give two tips to help businesses combat the recession: a revenue-generating idea and a cost-savings suggestion.

Revenue Generating

To generate income, we're taking the plunge into Social Media networking. If you have been toying with the idea of tweeting or bouncing around the benefits of blogging, now is a great time to get started. More and more businesses are using online networking to develop relationships and turn them into clients.
Our colleagues at Springboard Works have created a White Paper that explains the different Social Media.

Cost Savings

Save money by consolidating your business’ communications services. With all the buyouts and mergers in the telecommunications industry recently, that may not be an easy task. We found Collaboration Insights, which not only can uncover savings in your telecom spending, but also collaborate with you to maximize the impact of every communications dollar you spend. For a step-by-step plan on how to save on telecom expenses click here.

VISTAGE TIP

Vistage is the world’s largest CEO peer group made up of CEOs who help each another make better decisions, achieve better results for their businesses and enhance their lives. They collaborate over the Web, receive one-on-one coaching, attend peer group monthly meetings, tap into a vast online resource library and learn from expert speakers.
